Nollywood Mourns The Passing Of Ace Actor, Sikiru ‘Arakangudu’ Adeshina
Few weeks after the Nigerian Movie industry, Nollywood mourned the death of teen actor, Olamide David, the movie industry has been thrown into another round of mourning following the demise of popular actor, Sikiru Adeshina better known as Arakangudu.
The bulky actor popular for his baritone voice and herbalist roles in Nollywood flicks gave up the ghost on Monday, February 8, 2016, in Kaduna State, Northern Nigeria, after suffering from cardiac arrest.
The late Arakangudu was laid to rest in his hometown, Osogbo, Osun State, on Tuesday, February 9, 2015.
Known for his characteristic role in Nollywood films, Arakangudu had gone off the acting radar for some years after suffering from an undisclosed ailment.
Since he debuted in the movie industry, late Arakangudu produced many award-winning movies, which includes ‘Iya Oko Bournvita’, ‘Agba Osugbo’, ‘Aje Olokun’, ‘Ogbologbo’, ‘Ilu Gangan’ among several other others.
